Which ones are signs of something spiritual, or supernatural or of special gifts that most folks DON'T have? If you have psychic feelings on a regular basis does that mean you can actually DO readings yourself? If so... HOW so, and how do you sort all of these sensations out?
We get a lot of questions about the different types of psychic feelings, and the truth is, most of us have SOME of these, pretty frequently:
1. Precognition (we know who is on the phone... before it rings)
2. Deja Vu (I've been here before... I just don't remember when!)
3. Spiritual Presence (Someone I've loved and lost is close... I feel them, but I can't see them)
4. Precognitive Dreams (I keep dreaming of things that happen a day or a week or a month later... what does it MEAN?)
5. Out of Body Experiences (more rare... but 15-20% of the population will have at least one of these during our lifetime, and quite possibly, ALL of us will have one when we die)
Of course there are lots more common psychic sensations, and feelings of a connectedness to the wild and wacky and wonderful world around us all. The key is, to be able to use these feelings to help guide your life, inform your decisions and help to give you a gentle nudge in the direction of your DREAMS.
Do psychic feelings that recur often mean that you should be a professional psychic?
I think they mean that you are HUMAN, and are waking up to your true power and potential. For me, the #1 thing I've noticed in my exploration of psychic powers and possibilities over the last 10 years or so, is that each of us has the ability to tune in to the wild and wacky and wonderful world of the unknown. We're just so conditioned to be grounded and rational and practical, that we've lost touch with the magic and the mystery and the magnificence of what we DON'T know. (which is far more than we do)
The truth is, I think that exploring your own intuition is the greatest gift you can give yourself, for far too many reasons to count here.
If nothing else... it awakens you to embrace the idea that we are ALL more than our bodies and our spiritual beings at heart, and that we are all connected to one another in wonderful ways. (and how we treat each other accordingly, in this world and maybe even the next... , is truly what matters most)
