In Lunar Syndrome the Desirous Avenue to Set Effective Prediction - Moon Effect in Vedic Astrology

Sun, the generator of power emitting spirit and making lives, is the talking point in Vedic Astrology, while Moon, the conductor of power lent by Sun, also rules the lives of the living beings on Earth. If Sun is the individuality, Moon the personality. Moon presides over impregnation, birth of a child, conception, and the animal instinct. She represents old women, mother and her family, grandmother, navigation, horse, mental peace, agricultural land, Lord Shiva, kindness and love, heart, services done for other's welfare and the 4th house.

A Moon sign shows its position in times of Birth. According to that, there are 12 signs or Rashis, from Aries to Pisces. Vedic Astrology considers Moon as Chandra or Lunar Deity. Chandra is also called Soma, another Vedic Deity, who is young and good-looking, fair, and handling a club in one hand and a lotus in other. The North Lunar Node, i.e. Rahu, and the South Lunar Node, i.e. Ketu, are the important facets in determining the fate of a person. During its monthly cycle, Moon passes through 28 divisions of the sky. Each of these divisions is called Nakshatra, which decides the person's mental makeup and Dashas. Each Nakshatra is further divided into four Charan or Pad. It is also important in case of match making processes.

In Vedic Astrology, The Moon's effect starts in the 16th, 51st and 86th year of the native. The Moon cycle starts falling on the native at its different phases of life - 1st cycle falls in the 24th year, the 2nd in the 49th year, and the 3rd cycle in the 94th year. The Jupiter, Sun, and Mars are known to be Moon's friends, whereas Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu are unfavorable to her. Moon sacrifices her friendly planets - Mars, Sun, or Jupiter - to protect her. Moon is the Lord of 4th house, it is acclaimed in the 2nd house of Taurus, and it becomes weakened in the 8th house of Scorpio. We will get very good results if Moon is placed in houses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 9 whereas the 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th and 12th houses are bad for the Moon. Standing in those rooms Moon becomes malefic for the native.

Moon phases in 12 different houses bring various responses on person's life. For each of these phases, several remedial measures need be applied to ward off the malefic effects.

Effects - When Moon is well placed in the Birth Chart:

Inner self with the strength of mindProsperous and successful lifeStability with firm and positive thoughts towards the worldAbility to confront the hurdles of lifePersistence and peace of mindHarmonious and happy lifeInclination towards creativity - poetry, fine arts, and musicHigh level and sensitivity and good personalityEffects - when Moon is malefic or it is ill-placed:Unstable and unbalanced state of mindFailure and difficulty in lifeMental distress, poverty, problems in family life and health problems

Our Fortune Teller provided Daily Rashifal and Kundali Matching Report between the two persons.

Southern Hemisphere Astrology - Rulers and Houses of the Signs

The attributes of the signs (Western) or rashis (Vedic) is the most complex issue for Southern Hemisphere astrology. To determine the attributes of the signs, we must analyze how the Western and Vedic traditions assigned their attributes in the Northern Hemisphere. If we apply the same logic to the Southern Hemisphere, we can determine the qualities of the signs/rashis.

We see that each sign/rashi obtains its attributes from five roots:

ConstellationHouse/BhavaModePlanetary RulerElement

When we view the zodiac from the Southern Hemisphere, we immediately see that the constellations and natural houses are reversed. The sign containing the vernal equinox is associated with the 1st house. The next sign is associated with the 2nd house, and so on. Libra (Thula) is the vernal equinox in the Southern Hemisphere, so Libra is the 1st house, while Aries (Mesha) is the 7th. Capricorn (Makara) is the 4th house, Cancer (Karkata) the 10th. So our first conclusion is that the constellation and houses are reversed or opposite. The three other fundamental roots (mode, ruler, element) must align with either the constellation or the house.

We note the fortunate symmetry of mode. Cardinal signs remain cardinal. If a sign is on an equinox or solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, it is on a cardinal point in the Southern Hemisphere. The same symmetry applies to the fixed and mutable signs. The hemisphere makes no difference in mode. Our second conclusion is that there is no change in mode. The assignment of cardinal, fixed, and mutable modes remains the same as in the Northern Hemisphere.

We must give more thought, however, to the planetary rulers of the signs. The ancients assigned planetary rulers according to seasons. The luminaries (Sol/Surya and Luna/Chandra) were assigned the signs/rashis of greatest heat. The other planets were assigned rulerships moving outward in Ptolemaic order (Mercury/Buddha, Venus/Sukra, Mars/Mangala, Jupiter/Guru, Saturn/Sani) until Saturn/Sani (and Uranus) were assigned to the coldest months. If we do this in the Southern Hemisphere, we start by assigning Luna rulership over Capricorn and Sol rulership over Aquarius. Mercury has rulership over Sagittarius and Pisces. We continue until Saturn (Western) has rulership over Cancer, Uranus over Leo, and Sani (Vedic) over Karkata and Simha. Our next conclusion is that planetary rulership is associated with the house, not the constellation.

If we temporarily ignore element, we see that the only difference between Southern and Northern Hemisphere signs is a reversal of the constellation. Thus, the first house, Mars-ruled, cardinal sign (rashi) is Libra, not Aries. We need to integrate the symbolism of the Scales to that of Mars, the 1st house, and cardinal mode to define Libra. The final, and most intriguing root, however, is the element. Would Libra (Thula) be air or fire in the Southern Hemisphere? This is the most controversial aspects of Southern Hemisphere signs/rashis.

Astrology Forecast for April 2012 - General Tendencies for All Sun Signs

April will bring a return to the norm. Mercury and Mars will be turning direct, and the outer planets will be mostly quiet. We've got some good days coming and some bad ones, but nothing that will last for any length of time. If you happen to be under clear skies on Earth Day, April 22nd, be sure to look up. You may just see a falling star from the Lyrid meteor shower.

There could be some really cute pranks on April Fool's Day, April 1st, with the Moon in fun loving Leo. But, Mercury will be turning direct on Wednesday, April 4th, while Venus argues with Neptune. On top of the usual travel and communication problems that comes with Mercury changing directions, there could also be some emotional confusion through Thursday, April 5th.

We have the Libra Full Moon bringing balance on Good Friday, April 6th, but Easter weekend may begin with a few acts of stupidity with Venus and Mars fighting on Saturday, April 7th. Things will improve on Sunday. In fact we may find ourselves ready to really forgive others on Easter Sunday.

Pluto will be turning retrograde on Tuesday, April 10th. Pluto is the planet of powerful transformations. Those with dominate Scorpio in their charts may be extra sensitive Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, April 10th through the 12th. The rest of us may find that our tempers are short, or we may encounter a small tragedy.

The grand red planet, Mars, will be turning direct on Orthodox Good Friday, April 13th. Whenever a planet is switching directions, it can make things difficult. Mars is our energy and our sex drives. Mars' direct station may bring feelings of lethargy, or we may find our anger creeping up, especially those with dominate Aries in their charts. But, on the plus side, Mars is very close to the Earth right now and ready for viewing. Get out and take a look at the bright red star. Look for Mars in the eastern sky shortly after sundown. It will be 2 years before Mars is this close again!

Work could be piling up, and relationships may get neglected for the Orthodox Easter Weekend and the last day of Passover, April 14th and 15th. But, life will definitely improve on Monday April 16th as Mercury reenters Aries. The rest of the week will have little planetary activity, and we should be happy with our normal routines. Our nerves may be a bit frayed on Friday, April 20th, but the New Moon in Taurus early Saturday morning should bring a calming effect.

Earth Day weekend, April 21st and 22nd, could bring some very positive events into our lives. The Sun will be shaking hands with Neptune and dancing with Mars. This could bring our creative and psychic energies to the surface. Mercury will also be teaming up with Uranus, which means brainstorms ahead! As I mentioned above, the Lyrid meteor shower will also be happening above us. Viewing may not be really great this year, but if you're lucky, you may just catch a falling star.

The week of April 23rd will begin with accomplishments with the Sun and Mars still doing the Tango. It will be a great day for staff meetings and meeting new people. We may hit some minor obstacles on Wednesday, April 25th, with Mercury taking a poke at Pluto, and the week will end homeward bound under the influence of the Cancer Moon.

The last 3 days of April, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, April 28th, 29th, and 30th, should bring progress with the Sun and Pluto singing in harmony. The Moon will also be in Leo, so weekend getaways will be the best! No matter what we decide to do (or not do), April will end on a grand note.

Venus will begin her biennial retrograde in May, and some will want to reexamine lost loves. Also, we have a very positive aspect, a double grand trine, creating a hexagram in the zodiac for Mothers' Day. Check back next month to find out more.

Relationship Compatibility Astrology for Love, Romance and Business

How compatible are you with your current partner, lover or friend? Did you know that astrology can reveal a whole new level of understanding between people simply by looking at their astrology chart and that of their partner? What are the potentials for the relationship? Everyone wants to believe that they get along well with others but we have all met people with whom we didn't get along well. Wouldn't it be nice to know ahead of time whether or not two people are compatible? Whether your partner / spouse is going to cheat in a relationship? It would save a lot of time and effort. In 12 months period every year you see cold weather, warm weather, rainy season, and sometimes witness earth quakes, hurricanes, and tornados. In the same manner in relationship you will see good times, bad times, good sex, love, romance, sickness, bad health, accidents, loss of job, loss of money etc. Couples who are compatible will stay together during good or bad times and will support each other. Couples who are not compatible will be together during good times and they separate when the challenging time comes in their lives. It is like this, when you have a nice bottle of champagne on your table everybody likes you. The moment the bottle gets empty, people leave and you are left alone. The compatibility between two people has to be at many different levels to be happy in a relationship. Astrological compatibility or Relationship Compatibility Astrology or Business Compatibility Astrology is the branch of astrology that studies relationships between two people by comparing their natal horoscopes for Astrology Compatibility or Relationship Compatibility or Business Compatibility. A natal horoscope is a chart, map, or imaginary snapshot of the planets in the Solar System and their positions in the zodiac at the exact time of a person's birth.

When two people are together for love, romance

1. There is friendship between them, and the friendship is represented by the 11th house in their astrology charts.

2. There is sex, passion between them which can lead to pregnancy. The sex, passion, and pregnancy is represented by the 5th house in their astrology charts.

3. if they decide to get married, then their marriage is represented by the 7th house in their astrology charts. The 7th house represents legal ties. All romantic or business partnerships, contracts etc. in life are represented by the 7th house in the astrology chart. The marriage can be a love marriage if there is a connection between the 5th house and the 7th house in their astrology charts if it is connected with Rahu or Ketu, then the love affair or marriage is with a person belonging to a different culture.

4. After marriage their family is represented by the 2nd house in their astrology chart.

The Ruling Planets in any astrology chart consists of the following:

1: Your ascendant sign lord in your astrology chart

2. Your ascendant nakshatra lord in your astrology chart

3. Your Moon sign lord in your astrology chart

4. Your Moon nakshatra lord in your astrology chart

5. The planet representing the day when you were born

So the 2nd, 5th, 7th, and 11th houses promote happiness, love and romance in the marriage / relationship. Especially if you find a spouse whose ruling planets at the time of their birth trigger the 5th house in your astrology chart, and vice versa, then there will be a strong chemistry, attraction, and love between them and they will be strongly drawn towards each other for love, romance and sex. They will meet each other for the first time when either one will be going through the mahadasha /bhukti/ anthara of the planets connected with 2nd, 5th, 7th, and 11th houses.

In one of my friend's astrology chart Rahu, Mercury, Venus, and Moon are the planets connected with 5th house and 7th house. My personal experience is that when my friend was going through Rahu mahadasha Mercury bhukti and Venus anthara, he dated someone whose ascendant degree in her vedic astrology chart was in Gemini sign ruled by mercury and Ardra Nakshatra ruled by Rahu, and the sub in rahu's nakshatra was ruled by Venus. My friend had relationship with another women in Rahu Mahadasha Moon bhukti venus anthara. She was Libra ascendant ruled by Venus and the ascendant degree was in swait nakshatra ruled by Rahu and sub in that nakshatras was ruled by moon. In my opinion everyone who comes in contact with you as a friend, as a lover, and as a business partner have some connection with your astrology chart that is why they enter your life in some way, and they bring a particular kind of energy into your life to either improve your love life, spiritual life, business, or financial situation or they bring sorrow grief and bad luck to you. If the ruling planets of your spouse / partner at the time of their birth are the significators of 2nd, 7th, 10th or 11th house in your astrology chart then the spouse / partner will bring financial prosperity in your life, and is very lucky for a business partnership.

The houses which negate happiness in marriage / relationship are 4th house, 6th house, 8th house, 12th house, and Badhaka house. 4th house in the astrology chart brings disappointment in love matters as it negates sex, love, romance, and pregnancy in life because it is 12th house to 5th house. 6th house brings lonely time, coldness in relationship, divorce, temporary or permanent separation in marriage / relationship as it negates 7th house matters such as marriage / permanent relationship. The 8th house in the astrology chart brings arguments, fights, difference of opinions in marriage / relationship, but it does not end the marriage / relationship. The 12th house is the house of general loss, such as loss of marriage, and loss of money etc. Then there is Badhaka house, which brings violence in marriage / relationship if there is connection between 7th house and the Badhaka house. For any kind of relationship whether it is a romantic one or business one you do not want to get involved with someone, whose ruling planets at the time of their birth are the significators of 4th house, 6th house, 8th house, 12th house and the Badhaka house in your astrology chart. Especially never form a partnership with someone, whose ruling planets at the time of their birth are the significators of the badhaka house in your astrology chart because it can bring violence in the relationship. Also never form a partnership with someone whose ruling planets at the time of their birth are the significators of the 12th house in your astrology chart because they will be your hidden enemy. Never form a partnership with someone, whose ruling planets at the time of their birth are the significators of the 8th house in your astrology chart because they will put you in dangerous situations.

The astrology compatibility or relationship compatibility astrology predictions or business compatibility astrology predictions that you read in magazines, and internet sites where the astrologers / psychics compare your zodiac signs to find astrology compatibility or relationship compatibility or business compatibility do not work in real life because billions of people around the world are born in a particular month and they could all relate to a particular zodiac sign but they all can not be compatible with you for love, romance or business. Even people born in a particular month or on a particular day having same zodiac sign could be completely different in their personality, nature and habits. Then how can they be compatible with you for love romance or business just using the zodiac signs.

Arabic Parts in Astrology - Specific Examples

Arabic Parts are points of power within a Western or Vedic horoscope that function as a specific significator. Unlike planets or grahas, Arabic Parts indicate the disposition of a single domain. They allow the astrologer to examine a particular facet of a client's life in a way that would not be possible with planets alone. Arabic Parts are calculated from three points: the base (almost always the ascendant) and the positions of the two planets (primary and secondary) that are most closely associated with the matter at hand.

For example, we could define a Part of Passion, a point of power that indicates the disposition and role that passion plays in the life of the client. Most astrologers would agree that Mars (Mangala) is the planet most closely associated with passion, and that Venus (Sukra) also strongly associated. We would say that Mars is the primary planet, and Venus the secondary planet.

The first step of the computation is to find the distance, in degrees, from the primary planet to the secondary planet. The direction is important. It must be from primary to secondary, as the sun moves along the ecliptic. The second step is to add this distance to the base (ascendant).

Consider this example. We compute the Part of Passion where the Ascendant is 0° Gemini (Mithunya), Mars (Mangala) is at 15° Capricorn (Makara), and Venus (Sukra) is at 20° Virgo (Kanya). The distance from 15° Capricorn to 20° Virgo is 245°. We add 245° to 0° Gemini to get 5° Aquarius (Kumbha). The Part of Passion is 5° Aquarius/Kumbha.

We can make this computation easier by defining it algebraically as:

Arabic Part = Base + Secondary - Primary

Arabic Parts will differ depending on which astrological tradition is being observed. The Western and Vedic traditions recognize different planets. In addition, they apply slightly different interpretations to the planets (grahas), so the primary and secondary planets in one cultural tradition may not be as important in the other.

For example, we could define a Part of Art, a point of power that shows the role of artistic endeavors in the client's life. Both the Western and Vedic astrological traditions would designate Venus (Sukra) as the primary planet. Modern Western astrologers would be more likely to declare Neptune as the secondary planet associated with art. Vedic astrologers, however, would be more likely to declare Buddha (Mercury) to be the secondary planet. Given these differences, each tradition would compute a different Part of Art. The judgment of the individual astrologer would also play a role in this matter.

This Month Through the Lens of Uranian Astrology: April 2012 Part 2

April 2012 Part 2

Before I get to the individual days I have to bring your attention to a problematic planetary picture that will be in play all week long. It is Mars + Saturn = Hades, murder and violence in the world. The worse day will be on the 15th and16th. The Sun will be opposite Saturn on the 15th and Mercury on the cardinal axis on the 15th. If I were you I should be very careful driving on these two days as everyone's mind could be elsewhere rather than on the road. Now to each individual day.

We have one extra day to hold on to our money as April 15th falls on a Sunday. But, the 15th will have many working overtime to complete their tax forms, as the Sun will be opposite Saturn. The really fun day will be the 16th as Venus will be semi-square Saturn. At the same time situations in the world will be a little unsettled and a bit nasty, especially in the mid-east, as well in Asia. On US home front, the presidential campaign will be nasty on the 16th. Then on the 17th the mood lightens-up as Venus will be at the midpoint of Uranus and Jupiter. Also, Mercury will be 22½ to Uranus and will be midpoint Jupiter and Pluto. With these planetary pictures the stock market should be up on the 17th. This positive financial picture should continue into the 18th as Venus moves to the midpoint of Jupiter and Pluto, and the Sun will be opposite Apollon - which means that the global financial picture looks positive on the 18th. At the end of the day on the 18th, situations get a little unstable as Mercury and the Sun moves to create a planetary picture with Uranus at the midpoint of the Sun and Uranus. The instability continues into the 19th as Mercury will be at the midpoint of Uranus and the cardinal axis and Hades. There will be unsettling news coming from the foreign financial markets, meanwhile, the presidential campaign will get really nasty as Venus will be 22½ to Uranus. Then on the 20th, Mercury will be 22½ to Saturn, some bad or depressing news can be relayed on this day. The financial markets can be a bit unstable as the midpoint between Venus and the Sun will be at the midpoint of Pluto and Uranus.

Unfortunately there is still a Mars + Saturn = the cardinal axis and Hades till the 30th of April. Expect some very nasty events to hatch!

Saturday the 21st begins on a new moon 22½ to Pluto, passions will be running high today, both a positive as well as negative tone, so tread carefully. By mid to late afternoon, Mercury will be midpoint Venus and Saturn, so watch your spending. You may discover that what your thought was a good deal may turn out to be a big mistake. Plan a nice quiet evening at home either by oneself or with a loved one. Pop a DVD in the player and microwave some popcorn and let the transits pass. Some of you out there may be waking up with a hangover or a headache as Sunday morning the 22nd begins with Mercury still at the midpoint of Venus and Saturn. By late morning everything looks better as Mercury moves to conjunct Uranus and both will be making a 22½ aspect to Apollon, go out with some friends and do something different and exciting. On Monday the 23rd you should see the financial markets up as Mercury will be at the midpoint of Venus and Apollon, this day should bring some positive news related to the foreign markets. On the 24th the Sun + Apollon = Venus. On this day there could be some positive international negotiations taking place.

On the other hand financial markets do not look too good as the planetary picture of the day is Jupiter + Saturn = Sun. on this day the financial picture will not look good. On the 25th Mercury + Neptune = Sun, pay very close attention to your bills and receipts and make sure you were not over charged on anything past or present. It is a day that there could be major gains as well as major losses as Sun + Neptune = Jupiter. It is a day to read between the lines as Mercury will conjunct Uranus and Venus will be making a 22½ to the both planets. Passions can again run high, hormones can be soaring in the evening. The first half of Friday the 27th the computers will be working full out in the national and international stock markets as the midpoint between Sun and Mercury will equal Jupiter and the cardinal axis. Then by mid-day the news turns negative as the main planetary picture changes to Sun + Mercury = Saturn. Then, on the weekend of the 28th and 29th forget about your troubles and enjoy the spring weather. Monday the 30th will have Saturn at the midpoint of Sun and Mercury, and Venus will be at the midpoint of Saturn and the cardinal axis. Bad news could/should bring down the financial markets. For those who have not been cautious in their financial deals you could get find yourself rather unhappy this day.

Astrology Forecast for June 2012 - General Tendencies for All Sun Signs

There's a funny thing about the planets. Because they're always moving, when you have a spell of really positive aspects, like we did back in February, March, and April, there will be a spell of negative aspects in the future. I don't mean to be preaching doom and gloom, but June does not look good. June will begin on the crest of a lunar eclipse under the umbrella of Venus' retrograde and an approaching clash of outer planets. Needless to say, June could be a rather tough month, from beginning to end. There could be financial problems, relationship problems, and personal losses. Tread lightly this month, and for Heaven's sake, leave the big sticks in the woods. Conflicts could turn into disasters.

The first 3 days of June could be good for some but bad for others. It could be especially difficult for those with dominate Sagittarius, Gemini, Aries, Virgo, or Pisces in their charts. There will be a partial lunar eclipse on June 4th, (it will be visible from most of North America), and Neptune will be at his retrograde station at about the same time. Venus will be very close to the Sun when the eclipse occurs, and Mars will be squaring off with the Sun and Venus and the Moon creating the dreaded astrological T-square with this eclipse. Eclipses bring changes, and most of us find change difficult. Add Mars, the God of war, and there could be some incredible conflicts to deal with. Neptune switching directions could create confusion, and this could cause some of us to reach for our addictions to escape. Be careful what you say, be careful where you go, and by all means, be careful driving. Mars rules cars, so accidents will be more likely. And, watch out for the drunken driver, until at least Tuesday, June 5th. But, if you really want to be sure, wait until Friday, June 8th, before making any life changing decisions. Life should improve by the weekend, with Mercury and Neptune shaking hands on Friday, June 8th, and the Moon entering the humanitarian sign of Pisces, on Saturday, June 9th. The Pisces Moon will encourage healing and forgiveness, which may be very needed by then.

As I mentioned above, we have outer planets also squaring off this month beginning with Uranus and Pluto. Uranus and Pluto will be maintaining their square for the next five months, but we will get our first taste of it on Sunday and Monday, June 10th and 11th, with Mercury lining up to create a T-square with these two. Uranus can bring sudden, unexpected events, and Pluto rules jealousy and criminal behavior (when afflicted). Add Mercury to the mix, the God of short trips and communication, and there could be some tremendous arguments (and possibly accidents), to say the least. Jupiter will also be on the cusp between Taurus and Gemini during this time, and this could create restlessness. Stay focused, stay sober, and drive defensively.

By Tuesday, June 12th, things should begin to calm down. The Moon will enter Aries bringing new beginnings, and the Sun and Saturn will be working together to help increase patience and understanding. In fact, things should settle down and maybe even begin to improve through the New Moon on Tuesday, June 19th. Dad's, your day, Sunday, June 17th, should be rather good. It will be a great day for a drive and for sharing ideas with friends and family under the Gemini Moon.

The Moon will enter Cancer just a few hours after the New Moon on Tuesday, June 19th, and the Sun will enter Cancer (the first day of Summer) on Wednesday, June 20th. Also during this time, Venus, in retrograde, will be trying to soothe the Uranus-Pluto square, but Mercury will be teasing Saturn while shaking hands with Mars. Top it off with Jupiter and Neptune beginning their very own outer planetary conflict, and the trouble could begin again. Many of us will be feeling very emotional under the Cancer Sun and Moon influence, and those emotions could get aggravated to the extremes with all the planetary conflicts. There may be problems with authority figures, loved ones, and finances. But, there may be a pleasant surprise pop up for a few of us through Thursday, June 21st.

We may have a few good days between Thursday and Saturday, June 21st and 23rd, but maybe not. The Sun and Neptune will be working very hard to stimulate our imaginations and creative natures, and if you can, try to have all important projects finished by June 23rd. Uranus and Pluto will hit the first peak of their conflict on Sunday, June 24th. Then, Jupiter and Neptune will hit their peak on Monday, June 25th. Saturn will also be at his direct station (the point where he shifts from retrograde to direct) at almost the same time that Jupiter and Neptune peak out. Murphy's Law, "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong," will probably be the rule to follow until Tuesday, June 26th. Be cautious doing everything!

We'll still have problems through the end of the month, but they may calm down a bit by Tuesday, June 26th. Venus will turn direct on Wednesday, June 27th, and this could bring up more money and relationship problems. The Sun will be poking at the Uranus-Pluto square on Friday, June 29th, and that means jealousy, arguments, and sudden unexpected problems. But, Saturday, June 30th looks nice! The Moon will enter Sagittarius Saturday afternoon, and it will be a great evening for a road trip, or just to get outside and breathe the fresh air.

July will still have its ups and downs with another Mercury retrograde on the way, but not nearly as difficult as this month. In fact Independence Day could bring a pleasant surprise. Check back next month to find our more.

Ba Zi Astrology - The Quality Of Life

In the pursuit of happiness, the Chinese has devised a way to decipher the luck of a person. Whether he or she can be lucky for marriage, career, wealth or health depends on the configuration of the heavenly stems and earthly branches.

The heavenly stems display the face value of the person such as their prevailing traits for all to see. Each heavenly stem exhibits the person's external character.

The earthly branches hold the seeds to a person true character and what is in their mind. Each earthly branch hides the person's internal character.

Together, the stems and branches form the four pillars of destiny or Ba Zi birth chart.

In order to truly know a person from the inside, we need to look at the hidden stems as well. The motivation of a person or what drives him or her towards a certain action can be uncovered from the hidden stems. In order words, a person's inner thoughts and motives can be unveiled behind the mask they put on.

Then there is the Day Master which embodies your character and personality. It is YOU. It personifies who you are. Ideally, the Day Master should be well rooted in its own pillar. This is what people calls WYSWYG. What you see is what you get when dealing with such a person whose Day Master is as straight as a tree.

The Day Master is the most important stem in a Ba Zi birth chart. It is the point of reference for all the stems and branches. It determines the balance of the Ba Zi birth chart. Whether you are weak or strong, the stems and branches play an interactive role to support or weaken you.

Then there is the season of birth which can make an element strong or weak including the Day Master. It governs the temperature of the Ba Zi birth chart based on the four seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter. If you are born in the right season, you are considered as strong. If you are not born in the right season, you are deemed to be weak. But that is only a simplistic way to assess the strength of a Ba Zi birth chart. The quality of a Ba Zi birth chart does not rest on its strength per se but the interaction of the stems and branches within it. Ultimately, the quality of a Ba Zi birth chart and hence, a person's life hinges on the clarity and harmony of one's Day master in relation to the stems and branches.

Uranian Astrology Forcast for the Beginning of Spring

I want to wish my readers a Happy Passover and or a Happy Easter. Mercury is now direct and I am late again... astrology to blame! First Mercury stationed to go direct April 3rd and 4th. Now on the 6th of April, I am preparing myself to go to a Passover Seder and since the first Seder night falls on the Sabbath we won't eat till midnight.

Enough about me now back to the astrological aspects.

Happy full Moon semi-squaring Neptune, it is a good thing that the stock market are closed today, because if it were open there would have been some bad deals made.

On the positive side many of you will be relaxing and enjoying a long holiday weekend as Jupiter will be on the cardinal axis. Its semi-square to Hades will have many of you will be dealing with old traditional holiday rites and ceremonies. On April 9th Mercury will be 22 ½ to Neptune, I do not think much work will be done on that day, but there will be many mistakes made if you are not careful due the Mercury Neptune. Then on the 10th Pluto will station retrograde and the mistakes made during the Mercury retrograde period will begin to come to light. Especially since Saturn will be at the midpoint of Jupiter and Uranus. On the 9th and 10th Venus will be semi-squaring the Sun, optimism will rule the day and the market could most like go up.

Late afternoon of the 10th and all day of the 11th Jupiter + Hades = the Sun, there could be big financial losses so be very careful how you handle your money, remember the IRS is looking for their pound of flesh. On the 12th Venus will be at the midpoint of Jupiter and Hades, look at what you think is garbage but you could discover some old relic you were ready to discard may be worth some money. It could be a good day to visit some flea markets and come away with something better than fleas as Jupiter will be midpoint Sun and Venus plus Mercury and Uranus. Mercury + Uranus = Jupiter could suddenly bring some very good news.

Next we move on to Friday the 13th, Mars will be stationing to go direct 22 ½ to Mercury, walk away from confrontations, for at the same time Vulcanus will be at the midpoint of Sun and Saturn. There could be deadly road rage or major eruptions due to frustrating situations. It will be a good day to hide ones head in the sand. On the 14th Uranus + Hades = Sun, this is a good day to have an astrology reading and/or have an astrology lesson. On the other hand it is a day to stay in bed with your head under the covers because this combo could produce some very nasty events in the world as Hades is on the cardinal axis.

Southern Hemisphere Astrology - The Elements of Each Sign

To define the attributes or qualities of sings (Western) or rashis (Vedic) in the Southern Hemisphere, we need to analyze the five fundamental roots of each sign: constellation, house, mode, planetary ruler, and element. The first four roots are relatively easy to assign. The fifth root, element, requires the most thought.

Is the element (fire, earth, air, water) associated with the constellation, or the house (bhava)? For this, we must consider the intrinsic difference between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres and the role they play in human history. We must consider the four elements as they assist us in our evolution.

The Northern Hemisphere is primarily land. The Southern Hemisphere is primarily water. Humankind originated near the Equator (African Rift Valley), but established great civilizations in the north, not the south. Land (Earth) is our present and immediate past, but Water is our distant past and future. Life arose from Water. The oceans will be the final frontier for humankind on this planet. Our first tool was Fire, and it represents the internal energy of humankind's spirit. Our future will be in our interconnection, and in space, both of which are represented by Air.

The 10th and 9th houses define the zenith, the heights, aspirations, and ideals of humankind. In the Northern Hemisphere, the 10th house is associated with Earth, the 9th with Fire. These elements represent the progress of humankind when it arose from equatorial Africa to establish the civilizations that we know today. But the Southern Hemisphere belongs primarily to Earth's other life, which lives in the ocean. The epitome of development in the south is Water, not Earth, so the 10th house and constellation, Cancer (Karkata), is Water, not Earth. Our future will be in networking, the element of Air, so the 9th house and constellation, Gemini (Mithunya), is Air, not Fire. The evolution of humankind tends toward Earth and Fire in the Northern Hemisphere. It tends toward Water and Air in the Southern Hemisphere. We conclude that in the Southern Hemisphere, the elements linked to the constellations, not the houses.

When we consider all five roots, we behold a pleasing symmetry. We see that the constellation and element remain together, that the planetary ruler and house/bhava remain together, and that these two pairs are reversed for opposing signs. In addition, we see that there is no change in mode. Each sign/rashi retains half of its meaning in the Southern Hemisphere, and acquires half the meaning of its opposing sign/rashi.

Intuitively, this makes sense. We would expect each sign/rashi to switch half of its attributes with its opposing sign/rashi in the Southern Hemisphere. The fundamental roots become:

Libra/Thula - Air, Cardinal, 1st house, Mars/Mangala
Scorpio/Vrishchika -Water, Fixed, 2nd house, Venus/Sukra
Sagittarius/Dhanushya - Fire, Mutable, 3rd house, Mercury/Buddha
Capricorn/Makara - Earth, Cardinal, 4th house, Luna/Chandra
Aquarius/Kumbha - Air, Fixed, 5th house, Sol/Surya
Pisces/Meena - Water, Mutable, 6th house, Mercury/Buddha
Aries/Mesha - Fire, Cardinal, 7th house, Venus/Sukra
Taurus/Vrishabha - Earth, Fixed, 8th house, Mangala/Mars, Pluto
Gemini/Mithunya - Air, Mutable, 9th house, Jupiter/Guru
Cancer/Karkata - Water, Cardinal, 10th house, Saturn/Sani
Leo/Simha - Fire, Fixed, 11th house, Uranus, Saturn/Sani
Virgo/Kanya - Earth, Mutable, 12th house, Neptune, Jupiter/Guru

By examining and synthesizing these roots, astrologers will be able to define the effect of the signs in the Southern Hemisphere.

Astrology and Synastry Compatibility

Astrology is study of zodiac signs while synastry is how two people of different signs behave or communicate with each other.

As we know every individual has born with certain characteristics. These characteristics define nature of every individual. It is observed that ever person is ruled by certain planets and core elements from the nature. These planets and specific elements decide your characteristics. When a person is born a map of the sky is created. It is based on the positions of planets and stars. Since our time of birth is different, all the positions of planets and stars also differ in case of every person. It is said that our map generally known as natal chart has some powers which form a bond with each other when we communicate with each other. This bond can be called as synastry compatibility.

Synastry or astrology compatibility test is performed by matching planets of one's chart to other. This comparison yields a score that represents how well you both match each other. Every planet has some powers which can be benefited to the person, who has them in his natal chart.
